HBG Design is seeking an Interiors Quality Leader who will provide quality assurance and quality control of technical aspects of interior design and documents.  This department ensures the contract documents are complete, technically sound, and that they clearly communicate the design intent and the client’s interest. The right candidate will be a client-focused, team player who will demonstrate excellent communication, insight, and tenacity to deliver strategic solutions.  

 To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Architectural and/or Interior Design degree
  • Registered Interior Designer
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of professional interior design experience, preferably in hospitality
  • Must be able to receive feedback from Contract Administrators based on field observations for possible modifications and implement changes as required on project documents
  • Capable of assisting the Documentation Leader with refinement of documentation standards related to interiors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Mentor and train interior design staff on design guidelines and construction standards, construction documens, and materials
  • Software preferences include: Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD and/or Revit, Spexx Logic, and Photoshop
  • Review documents produced by Interior Design professionals for clarity, completeness, correctness and constructability. Identify potential claims and change orders. 
  • Coordinate Interior deliverables with consultants and/or internal Interior Design Team.
  • Collect product research for technical compatibility, and assure product is detailed correctly and is technically sound. 

The Interiors Quality Leader reviews interior documentation through the implementation of design to ensure clarity and quality of concept is maintained through detail level; and works closely with design and documentation teams to ensure continuity, consistency and technical completeness of design deliverables.
